MCT is laying 14 master plan roads at cost of Rs 40 crores

Deputy Mayor puts special focus to bring new road network

 A man behind new master plan roads, YSRCP MCT Deputy Mayor Abhinay Reddy’s restless efforts will be given new face lift to temple city in terms of providing hassle free commuting facility to its residents. As of now many existing Tirupati roads are very congested for commuting and poor road network connectivity in eastern side of the city.  

In addition that all the Tirupati roads are only option for pilgrims to go to Tirumala. All these traffic problems since many years’ commuters have been facing for commuting from one place to another place in eastern side of the city. And also commuters are facing hardship to reach northern side to southern side of the city.  Following these traffic hurdles Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) unanimously passed a motion to lay the new master plan roads in Tirupati city on war footing basis.   By initiation of the present Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, and involvement of Mayor Dr Sirisha, other council members’ new master plan roads come into reality.

MCT has taken up these new 14 master plan roads at cost of Rs 40 crores. For this, civic body pooling ups the funds from various sources.  Corporation is laying 80 feet and 60 feet roads to connect Karakambadi Road with Renigunta Road.  On the same line from RTC Bus Stand to via Chintala Chenu a new master plan road work is also under progress.

From Ankura Hospital to Padmavathipuram master plan road work is almost in final stage. And also Municipal Corporation has been focusing over laying of internal roads from one dwelling area to adjacent colony. 

To make over Tirupati as traffic jams free city Deputy Mayor and his team of officials and corporaters are working hard in laying new master plan roads. Deputy Mayor Abhinay Reddy has been inspecting road laying works almost two days one’s. And reviewing legal matters regarding land pooling for laying new roads.
