–          YSRCP leaders in shock with graduate result

–          Heavy margin maintained by TDP candidate Kancharla Srikanth

Tirupati, March 18:

Surprisingly the opposition TDP beat the Ruling YSRCP  in East RayalaSeema Graduate MLC election and bagged the seat in its account. It may be noted that  YSRCP graduate MLC candidate Pernati Shyam Prasad Reddy was one of the hot favorites for this seat in the election. Political observers have predicted that with the Support of Prakasam, Nellore, Tirupati, Chittoor Districts MLAs support at any cost ruling YSRCP candidate Prasad Reddy can win the seat. Whereas the MLC election result came out quite opposite and opposition TDP gain the graduate MLC Seat. This election result has disappointed the ruling YSRCP leaders and cadre.

Before the 2023 Assembly Elections , the Present MLC Election result sent a strong warning among the ruling party leaders over their attitude and working style towards the public. The voting of graduate results reflected the public mood by their voting. Total casted votes were in Graduate MLC Elections that were 2,69,339. TDP Candidate K Srikanth has obtained 1,12,514 till the March 17 evening 4pm. It indicates dam sure winning of the TDP candidate. However the ruling party graduate candidate Shyam Prasad Reddy gained 85,252 votes only.  There are 27,000 vote gap between opposition and ruling party candidates in graduate MLC elections. This deference confirms the winning of TDP Graduate Srikanth.  Before the counting we had no hope of winning, because the ruling YSRCP MLAs and its leaders encouraged the bogus votes on a large scale and were involved in election malpractices by the support of police , a local TDP leader alleged.  But whatever people’s mandate came out in favor of our party, he added.
