Doctors should love their patients

Sri AV Dharma Reddy on Saturday advised SVIMS doctors to function with dedication, be friendly with patients and treat them with love.
Participating as chief guest at a doctors conference organised by SVIMS Director and TTD JEO(Health and Education) Smt Sada Bhargavi, the TTD EO said patients have immense faith in doctors whom they consider next to God.
He urged the doctors to arrive for overall development of SVIMS organisation and serve patients on par with BIRRD and SPCHC hospitals of TTD and ensure that Tirupati become a medical hub in the country.
He said doctors of SVIMS are experts in their specialties and TTD has installed latest medical equipment and operating theatres. For enhanced medical knowledge from Vedas they could coordinate efforts with scholars of SV Veda university.
The EO said SVIMS has been developed on expert advice of the visiting doctors from all over country to address ailments and advised them to hold interactions every fortnight and have monthly sessions with SVIMS Director to resolve issues of any.
Earlier the TTD EO also received suggestions for development of SVIMS from doctors. SVIMS Director Smt Sada Bhargavi presented the progress card on three months activities at SVIMS.
TTD FA & CAO Sri Balaji also made a presentation on TTDs investment in SVIMS.
SVIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Ram, CE Nageswara Rao, Additional FA & CAO Sri Ravi Prasadu and other officials and doctors were present.
