In a bid to ensure a peaceful and safe New Year’s Eve, the Tirupati sub-divisional police have issued a set of guidelines for residents.

* No Intoxicants or Immoral Acts: Consumption of intoxicating substances and immoral activities during the celebrations are strictly prohibited.
* DJs Banned: DJ programs are not permitted, and any violations will result in legal action.
* Public Celebrations Restricted: Public gatherings, cake cutting, and fireworks are banned in public places.
* Crackdown on Drunk Driving: Anti-drunk driving campaigns will be intensified, with strict penalties for offenders.
Venue Restrictions: Certain roads and bridges will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10 PM on December 31st to 4 AM on January 1st.
