All the smart city projects will be accessible to public soon: says Commissioner Anupama Anjali

“Major smart city projects will be accessible to the public soon, “ said Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) Commissioner Anupama Anjali. While interacting with media persons on Saturday ,Commissioner Anjali has informed the status of the ongoing smart city projects work progress.
She stated that VinkayakaSagar theme park and recreation facilities , Indoor Stadium, as well as the newly widening Koralaguta road will be accessible to the public from January 15th. It’s a big sigh of relief to the city residents by the MCT measures towards widening and laying of master plan roads in Tirupati.
Apart from the above two major initiatives, the Commissioner stressed that the civic body is working with special focus to complete the important projects within the fixed timeline. Further she added that “ Our officers concerned are working much time to complete the SrinivasSethu 3rd pace works on or before January 31st, which the timeline was extended in TTD EO’s recent review meeting”.
The Commissioner announced that Jaganna housing colony houses 200 which will be inaugurated on December 21st as part of a state wide programme. After that Anukara Hospital master plan road will be accessible to the public from December 25th, almost all of the road works were under completion, she added.
Commissioner mentioned that by the political will only MCT is laying new master plan roads in the interest of city development, so far the civic body has completed roads widening and forming new master plan roads with less legal complications with the intervention of MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and Corporation Council only. She said that all the council members are outright extending their support to officials in forming new master plan roads. And also “ We are giving TDR bonds to the building owners who lost their properties in the formation of new roads” , the Commissioner told.
And also she added, the new sewage treatment Plant (STP ) is also ready for inauguration shortly, works are going on at a brisk pace. And said that shortly MCT is going to conduct a meeting over the traffic jams and improvement of the public transport system in the city.
