Tirupati – IndianOil, as a socially responsible organization, beyond the business priorities, is leaving no stone unturned in contributing towards the social progress of the society through its carefully crafted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and social stewardship programs, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), tertiary care referral centre and an institute serving the patients of below poverty line, for provision of Medical Equipment under Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
The agreement was signed today at the Office of Executive Officer, TTD, Tirupati, by Mr B Anil Kumar, Executive Director & State Head, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh State, IndianOil and Dr R Ram, Medical Superintendent, SVIMS in The august presence of Mr A V Dharma Reddy, Executive Officer, TTD, Mr V Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing), IndianOil, Mr M Gurumoorthy, Member of Parliament, Tirupati & Dr S Dattatreya Rao, Independent Director, IndianOil,
As per the agreement, IndianOil will support SVIMS for procurement of “3 Tesla MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) equipment and “4D SC Scan” at a total cost of Rs.22 Cr. This is to facilitate treatment to the economically weaker section of the society, which will be closely monitored by TTD and IndianOil.
This project is the initiative of Mr A V Dharma Reddy, EO, TTD and Mr V Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing), IndianOil. The other officials who were present in the event from TTD are Smt S Bhargavi, IAS, JEO & Dr B Vengamma, Director-cum-VC, SVIMS and from IndianOil Mr Ajay Shrivastava, GM, Mr Kailash Kant, DGM & Mr Rohit Mohan, Divisional Retail Sales Head, Tirupati.
